Done with PCM

After these 4 days, I've successfully completed the intensive training course of Project Cycle management (PCM) conducted by Okada Naomi sensei and Jun sensei from FASID at GSID today. No credit is given for this course although there is a test; grade is determined and shown on the certificate. I'll see how well I did it. Em... "C"??? Hopefully, not "F". Those who fail will be announced on Sept 1 for supplementary test.
My group's Project Design Matrix (PDM), nearly completed

I like the way the course was conducted - participatory approach, which is one of the characteristics of PCM itself. Yet, I don't like the testing contents - too textbook-based.

One complaint: it would be great if the 2nd part of PCM course - Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) - were also conducted in English. Too mean to just do it in Japanese...

My workplace also uses this PDM for the design design, monitoring and evaluation. I think many NGOs, and even JICA, use it.
