月見 or 中秋節

The left is read, tsuki-mi, and the right, zhong qiu jie. These are how Moon/Mid-Autumn Festival is called in Japanese and Chinese, respectively.

Like last year, just a simple day!!! It would be totally different if I were in Cambodia, where I have those of my dearest and my favorite moon cakes. I really miss you guys... hik hik... and the cakes, too.

P.S. The moon is almost perfectly full in Nagoya's sky (source: ME), unlike that in Cambodia's (source: PAPA).

Why we don't have that perfectly full moon in Cambodia? The moon was okay on the 14 September 2008 in Brisbane after the rain but I could see its beauty the day after, but not when the celebration was on.
