Superwoman: One of My Favorite Songs

This "Superwoman" initially recorded by an R&B singer Karyn White in 1988 is a smash hit by Gary Cao/Cao Ge (曹格), a Chinese-Malaysian singer, in 2006. In a recent interview with MTV, Cao admits (fluently in English) that he is a shy guy who doesn't express himself well through words but well enough in the songs he sings. With almost the same theme, this Mandarin version describes the man's regretful feelings after his care-taking girlfriend left him due to his ignorance. Let's see if you feel the song.

PS: It also comes in Khmer version.

That's sad! Thanks for sharing, Yeng! What does the girl say in the end? I can only understand wo ai ni! Lol... What happens? Does she die or what?

Just posted a song on my wordpress blog too, Nothing's Gonna Change My Love For You both the original version and the new one by Westlife. Check it out!

Just got wet, so not died. At the end, the girl asked the boy if he loved her or just himself because she had done so many things for him but only got his ignorance in return. This is all I could make sense from the song based on my poor mandarin... Anyway, enjoy it!

it is really nice song, but sad and it makes me get angry with that man nas. why he is doing so. why he did not understand how much love his girlfriend give to him. why he wait until it is almost too late. why he ignore the true love from his girlfriend. is there any better girl than his girlfriend, these no one he met. why he did not keep this good time having a happy life with his girlfriend, why his wait his girlfriend standing in the cold rain and ask him does he love her. he is very lucky man, but he did not notice about that. that is why i wonder why and why i get angry with him the most.
