He didn't, I guess. For the very least, you could reason your decision to give up elegantly. Don't you think so? That would be your gratitude to him somehow. Otherwise, it would be super cruel to you; in the case that he knew and was that heartless, I would infer that you were of no value to him (no offense, though). Honestly, you were pretty much fortunate for not knowing whether he knew how much you were into him. At least, his bypassed picture hasn't left you in a total disaster and made you a complete fool. Instead of having even 0.5 gut to dig out all your questions, you could possibly rest with a peaceful and positive mind. Well, "avoiding a fight" may best describe you.

I don't wanna miss a thing
Aerosmith doesn't wanna miss a thing, neither do I. But, I have already missed quite a few significant events: my graduation ceremonies @ NUM and IFL/RUPP, my best friends' weddings (L+? and N&T), my 1st nephew's birth and shower party, and ......
Tell you what? I'm gonna fly back home today to join my BIG brother's wedding this coming Saturday, and see my cute, little Ken for the 1st time. Then, will play with him with the sold-in-Japan toys... Lol...
I don't wanna miss a thing, so I got everything (course registration, OFW & PCM application, temporary leave form, credit card application, rent payment...) done by today although the deadlines are still ALIVE for another week. Hopefully, I didn't miss a thing.
Next week is the week of holiday, called Golden Week: April 29 (Showa's Day), May 3 (Constitution Day), May 4 (Greenery Day), May 5 (Children's Day) and May 6 (substitute holiday). Even so, I'm, until May 7, gonna miss a lot of classes: 1 session in I2ID (attendance and paper counted for grading T_T), 2 sessions each in Development Macroeconomics and Microeconomics. Let's see how I survive when I'm back!!! Wish me good luck ne!!!
