Did he?
Dear K.P.,
He didn't, I guess. For the very least, you could reason your decision to give up elegantly. Don't you think so? That would be your gratitude to him somehow. Otherwise, it would be super cruel to you; in the case that he knew and was that heartless, I would infer that you were of no value to him (no offense, though). Honestly, you were pretty much fortunate for not knowing whether he knew how much you were into him. At least, his bypassed picture hasn't left you in a total disaster and made you a complete fool. Instead of having even 0.5 gut to dig out all your questions, you could possibly rest with a peaceful and positive mind. Well, "avoiding a fight" may best describe you.
Best,
M.L.T.

The wolf moon
I was surprised by its name as I came across the Yahoo! News on the biggest and brightest full moon of 2010. Among all 12 full moon names, I found this "wolf moon" particularly cool. It's kinda story-like as I read "werewolf" in Harry Potter series and Twilight. In fact, I noticed this exceptionally bright, big, yet not-yet-full moon a night before. Then, it came to its best beauty on January 29. I guessed it's just my luck that I happened to see and capture the "wolf" as I got out of the school's central library which I visited once in a long while.Well, a sense of homesickness did prevail over me upon the view of this full moon. Not until I am away from home do I feel so from time to time. That's why I've come to realize the notion of "distance makes hearts grow fonder."
However, I bet I'll claim the same when I get back to my home sweet home [grin]. Still 2 months to go before getting to miss life in Japan.

Being positive
"Insanity - doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results."I came across with this quote some days ago during a friend's presentation. Could it be possible to do "so" and expect "so" without being said to be insane? To me, the description should be termed "persistence" or "optimism" in a way (or any suggestion?). I'd justify it by Shiv Khera's quote I grabbed few years ago, "winners don't do different things; they do things differently." Hence, insanity would not be an ultimate judgment on you* when you repeatedly try on the same thing. It's real true when you* do that same thing in a trial-and-error method. Even if you* don't, I somehow believe that doing that same thing in your same way is your choice and expecting different outcomes is a force keeping you from giving up before a 2nd, 3rd... trial. Whether or not disappointing, the results would be yours; if positively put, your "do" process would make you grow stronger in whatever way you define.Albert Eistein

A letter
Dear Sir/Madam,
This is too disturbing, distracting, annoying, headache-ing... No matter what kinda situation I am in, it is usually around. With some strategies, it is still... You know, I have to get things done before "too late" comes, but it just can't let me go the way I am supposed to. As a reward for any occasion I could reason, I've already indulged myself with it, quite plenty of it. Still, in no way I could escape. Am I got infected by it? Or just I'm not self-disciplined enough?
I'm sorry to say that this is not to ask for any advice, but just to take a rest from it.
Sincerely,
Sly. P.

Kit Kat
Having passed a bar of Kit Kat to my ex-student-tutor just now, I learned an interesting story about this chocolate chunky. Kit Kat has been very popular among high school students in Japan, esp. those in their final year. For one thing as you may know, chocolate help boost your brain to power your performance at hand. Another thing is that Nestle is promoting this brand by using Japanese equivalent terms. "Kit" can be read "きっと", meaning "surely", while "Kat" is similar to "勝つ", meaning "to win." As a result, most senior high school students, who are preparing for their state exam and university-entrance exam, are super fond of this confectionery. This is an example of how a brand name could be a plus in marketing.

A Story of "so"/"SO"/"そう"
Once upon a time,
she was told "so", and she accepted it.
She was then treated "so", and so it went on.
Was it gonna be "so" for good?
Hmmm... kinda yes;
she didn't seem to mind, at least complaining no "so".
Was this "so" real?
Hmmm... she wondered, too.
But why this "so"?
Well, for her sake, it was said;
all for god's, she argued.
Where now?
"Nowhere" or probably "now here".
Just a space in between, wasn't it?
How now?
No more, she claimed.
At least she had tried. Yeah, she tried...
As money(1) passed,
she said the exact "so", and she was agreed with.
Unknowingly she did "so", and there it was.
Guess, she felt no good.
On and on, she got to realize that...
IT COULD HAVE BEEN "SO", the key.
Then, should that "so" be off?
Urm... hardly yes.
Better be on, she demanded.
Why then?
The combined "so" and "SO" might lessen guilt.
How about "now here"?
Hmmm... one back-space,
it turned "nowhere".
Why?
Clearly, "SO" and then "so"...
This "SO" was felt;
that "so" was done.
When no more?
Money(1) would tell...
Why money(1)?
An excuse or what, she whispered.
No, a "そう", she later justified.
Would this work?
Well, quite pessimistic.
Just that this "そう" started,
and there were those "so" and "SO".
A happy-ever-after?
Super questionable...
[Not to be cont'd]
Note:
(1) Please substitute it with "time" because "time is money." [Not funny, I knew.]

Already missed
Another Pchum Ben was gone without my observation. It is indeed another festivity at home (among the many) I've missed so far, and it's gonna be so for another 18 months before another life transition takes place. Who knows what is the next "another" I'll miss. I know I did and I will miss you guys' great days. Yet, upon your understanding, my another "sorry" seems unnecessary.
K, congrats on your engagement (9.25)! Be showered with happiness!
