"If there is no delay, we are planning the first oil production for around 2011," said Te Duong Dara, director-general of the Cambodian National Petroleum Authority (CNPA), speaking at a conference of global industry experts and energy company officials in Phnom Penh.

Cambodia is in need of labor forces working in the field of oil production. There should have been soome budget allocated for the training. But I heard, workers from Indonesia have been being hired. Is it more expensive to train the Cambodias or to hire the foreigners. I think there's enough time for training as news about Cambodia oil reserve has been spread for years and two more years is left for the products. If there were some kind of schooling, people would have gotten degree of oil production skill.
