As agreed, a Japanese friend (my study-room roommate) just back from his holiday in Hokkaido bought me 2 small boxes of 白い恋人, pronounced shiroi koibito, biscuit (chocolate sandwiched). It's kinda sweet, yet that's the taste, I suppose. I was told that this famous Shiroi Koibito, a popular souvenir from Hokkaido, was once reported on falsification of expiry dates and that the production was suspended for about 3 months and has been back on the shelves again in November 2007.
