Documents for Visa extension (foreign students) include the followings:- Certificate of enrollment
- Certificate of source of income (scholarship)
- Passport
- Alien registration card
The new Nagoya Immigration Bureau can be accessed from Nagoya Station by taking a 13-minute train on Aonami Line to Nagoya-keibajo-mae Station. Please note that the office hour is by 4PM SHARP.
My original plan was to leave home @ 1PM, yet it became my bed-leaving time. It was kinda late to leave home at 2:30PM and better to change my plan to tomorrow, my friends advised. Stubbornly, I grapped my documents from my desk @ school and set off from Nagoya Daikaku Station @ 3PM as fast as my feet could carry me. I managed to get to Nagoya Station in less than 20 minutes. But guess what, I was 1 minute late and had to wait for 15 minutes for the train on Aonami Line. When I arrived @ the 2nd floor of the office, it was just in time, I would say, that... er... the staff scrolled down the window shade @ 4PM SHARP. Exhausted and disappointed, I kept regretting about this and that all through my way back. Such a waste of resources of mine!!! Gotta go again tomorrow MORNING!!!
